My twins Arion and Dreama were born on April 19th of 2009, at 1:40PM. I had been feeling weak and tired by abdominal pains in the previous three days, and I had been scared that something would go wrong with the babies, but gladly those were just my ‘maternal’ fears My brother Doc and our friend Rhinox assisted to the birth of my bundles of joy, while my mom and dad, and my mate Nixon, were at both sides of my berth, holding my hands and covering me with lovely attentions. That morning I had been taken to Rhinox’s lab at 4AM since I was screaming out in pain, but as I was laid on the lab berth and checked up by Rhinox, he told me that it was too early to take the babies out, and that he would have given me a pain reliever to go through the whole labor time without fainting. So he did; he gave me the medication and then I called Nixon and my parents, who promptly came over to keep me company and support me. My brother Doc arrived half an hour later, as he had just finished his night shift on Cybertron, and came directly to Rhinox’s lab to assist me, since mom had phoned him up to tell him the news. The pain reliever made me sleep for a few hours, but when I woke up again – it was about 9AM – the pain started getting strong again. Rhinox gave me another dose and it took a while before it did its effect this time. In the meantime, Doc monitored the babies, and it seemed that they were kinda pushing my abdominal plate to get out soon. The thought made me smile, but Primus! it was so painful.. Nixon never left my hand, and I’m really so moved at the realization that I’m just so lucky to be his mate. Seriously. So yeah, time went by slowly since then. I got visits from my brothers and sisters, who alternatively came to see how I was and went again. Brothers Sunny and Red really wished to be there for me, but the lab would have ended up too crowded for Doc and Rhinox to work on me, so they had to give it up. I appreciated it a lot though I love my siblings! I got a phone call from Sideswipe and his mate too, wishing me good luck and a fast and safe birth-giving; they would have wanted to be here, but were having their hands full on that morning so they couldn’t. Mom went home to get Melody over to the lab, as Nixon wanted her to watch the birth of her little siblings. Honestly, I didn’t think it was a good idea, as I feared Mel would be shocked by the whole process, but yeah, in the end Nixon was right about it And Mel’s a strong kid.
At past 12PM my abdominal pains started to bug me again, and this time they got so strong that I screamed too. Doc and Rhinox immediately administered me a pain killer, and they anestethyzed my abdominal area. As the whole procedure was done, Rhinox started removing my abdominal plates carefully, while Doc unplugged the babies from their ‘pouch’ and laid them on my chest. Primus, they’re so beautiful! *_* They cried vigorously as Doc took them out, and Nixon was the one to welcome little Dreama in his arms just immediately after birth. He looked at her in awe, as if looking at a marvelous gem. But is there anything more marvelous than a baby for his/her parents? :’) My brother and Rhinox cleaned me up and reattached the two plates to my abdomen, and applied a regenerating gel, while Nixon and I snuggled with our two new bundles of joy and little Melody. After a moment, my mom and dad clapped their hands happily, and some of my siblings peeped in from the door to greet us and the new babies. I laughed almost too enthusiastically, while tears were still coming down. I felt like on drugs, LOL! Dad took some photos of the babies with us, and then I just rested until I could get up on my own and go home. A few hours later, we celebrated my little brother Optimal Optimus’ 4th birthday too Double event, double joy. I think I never felt more attached to my family as in this occasion, and really, I’m so lucky to have such an awesome mate and kids. Primus really put His bless on me.
